Wildfire News Updates
Hey there, welcome to the weekly public media wildfires update.
Artists have always reflected society and nature back to us, and this past L.A. Art Week was an inspiring look at the city’s resilience, from the many fairs all over town and creative use of space that got people out all across the city to the featured work by painters and sculptors who were affected by the fires.
At LAist, the team is asking for your input about what rebuilding in the Pacific Palisades and Altadena looks like for you – share your stories and have your voice heard. This week, LAist and PBS SoCal are covering the latest Eaton Fire payout plan from Edison, CalMatters takes a stand on the L.A. mayoral race, and KCRW reports on how Fender guitar is raising funds for fire victims and making some pretty cool axes at the same time.
Stay safe,
KCRW, PBS SoCal, LAist, and CalMatters
