Hey you,
Can we hold on to the last bits of summer together? The heatwave has finally quelled, and the nights creep further into the days, slowly, yet surely, crawling us into the arms of autumn. So this weekend, let’s celebrate summer’s sunset with our final two remaining Summer Nights parties of 2026! First up, on Friday we cruise to Griffith Park to activate the Autry Museum of the American West with a dance party in the courtyard, and then Saturday night, we’re popping up in the valley for the first time and joining in on the NoHo Arts District block party. Scroll for the deets.
📋Included in this week’s field guide:
- Elijah Wood + Zach Cowie guest DJ the Autry
- Our debut Summer Nights in the valley
- Eclectic pop from Madison McFerrin

Friday, September 4th: Summer Nights with Autry Museum of the American West
DJ Stage Schedule:
6:00–6:30 PM | KCRW Music Director Ale Cohen
6:30–8:30 PM | KCRW DJ SiLVA
8:30–10:00 PM | Guest DJs Wooden Wisdom (Elijah Wood & Zach Cowie)
The Autry Museum has become one of my favorite KCRW spots in Los Angeles, and this Summer Nights is bound to be a certified fresh experience with two very special guests on the decks. Actor Elijah Wood and music supervisor Zach Cowie make up the DJ duo called Wooden Wisdom, and are headlining the night with a mixed bag of sounds, from acid rock to African funk. We can’t wait to see what the duo spins on the 1s and 2s!
As the night kicks into gear, take a stroll inside the museum and experience the Autry’s current exhibit, Life, Liberty and Los Angeles, inviting you to absorb the stories of diverse Angelenos and the contradictions of the nation’s founding principles.
KCRW Music Director Ale Cohen opens the night with a special set before KCRW DJ SiLVA gets the crowd pumped up with her hi-NRG curation. Expect to let it all hang out on the dance floor!
KCRW MEMBER PERK: $1 off drinks at the bar.

Saturday, September 5th: Summer Nights with NoHo Arts District
Schedule:
6:00–8:00 PM | LUXXURY
8:00–9:15 PM | Madison McFerrin
9:15–11:00 PM | Peanut Butter Wolf
Make your way north of the Hollywood Hills and meet us in the valley for one more summer night! We’re channeling the vibrant pulse of the NoHo Arts District and throwing a big block party on Magnolia and Lankershim to close the summer out with DJs, live music, and a lively beer garden. Get ready to swoon when singer-songwriter Madison McFerrin takes the stage. We’ve been longtime fans of her eclectic pop stylings since her 2023 debut, I Hope You Can Forgive Me. She just released her sophomore album, SCORPIO, and we can’t wait for you to hear her smooth vocals glide over expressions of self-love, her zodiac sign, and personal evolution.
And we got our two new fly KCRW DJs on opening and closing duties. LUXXURY welcomes the crowd with feel-good indie, rock, pop, and his signature remixes of classic jams, and Peanut Butter Wolf spins the final sounds of summer with his range of hip-hop, funk, soul, R&B, and rarities. You’ll be dancing in the streets until the event ends at 11 PM for a full night of Summer Nights memories.
KCRW MEMBER PERK: $1 off at Republic of Pie.

*ೃ༄Tyler “Boogie” Boudreaux’s Farewell to Summer*ೃ༄
As I reflect on our summer together, on dancefloors and in spaces all across Southern California, I’m so grateful to all of our partners who collaborated with us to make Summer Nights come to life. We couldn’t do this without them. And of course, we couldn’t do any of this without you showing up and showing us how you get down. We had a blast!
We can’t wait to dance with you,
Yer Girl Tyler “Boogie” Boudreaux
