  • Little Simz – Lotus – One of our biggest albums of the year, Lotus, from British rapper Little Simz, returns to the top of the chart, following her North American tour finale at the Palladium and special guest visit on Morning Becomes Eclectic last week. She will definitely be a part of our year-end best of coverage coming soon.  
Staying Power: 
  • Rosalía – LUX – Spanish global popstar trails just behind at #2, but remains in the top two spots for the 4th consecutive week. 
     
  • Automatic – Is It Now? / Tame Impala – Deadbeat – both releases have been mainstays the past two months straight, remaining in the top 10 for the 9th consecutive week. 
Trending Upwards: 
  • Melody's Echo Chamber – "Eyes Closed" [Single] - The Percussive psych jam from French musician Melody Prochet continues to climb from #8 to #5 and now #3. 

  • Kraak & Smaak – Velvet Seas – Dutch electronic pioneers move up 20 spots to #9 with their seventh studio album, Velvet Seas.  
     

New & Notable (Debuts):

  • De La Soul – Cabin in the Sky – formative Long Island hip-hop crew's first new album in nine years, and first without the late Trugoy the Dove, doesn't disappoint, debuting at #4.

  • Jack Johnson – "Hold On To The Light" – the collaborative single between singer-songwriter Jack Johnson, G.Love, and Hermanos Gutiérrez for the SURFILMUSIC documentary, debuts at #25.
