Trending Upwards:

  • GUM – "Celluloid" [Single] – latest spacey fuzzed rock jam from Australian psych musician Jay Watson (Pond) climbs up 13 spots to #2. Thanks to Novena Carmel for introducing it to the  KCRW music team and DJs.

  • Wet Leg – "mangetout (The Dare Remix)" [Single] – The English rock band has received renewed interest in last year's single, "mangetout," after being featured in the hit show Heated Rivalry, and now adds some mid-2000s electro-thrash courtesy of NYC songwriter The Dare, jumping up 14 spots to #3.

New & Notable Collabs:
  • Mexican Institute of Sound x Meridian Brothers – "Cumbia fantasia" [Single] – Lead single from neotropical and post-cumbia heavyweights forthcoming collaborative album debuts at #13 and is rooted in late '70s early '80s Mexican tropical sounds.
  • SOFI TUKKER & J Balvin – "COOK" [Single] – Latest collaborative banger debuts at #24, combining the duo's signature dance-pop sound with reggaeton influences and marks their first release on a major label.
