Estevan and Alejandro Gutiérrez are the Swiss-Ecuadorian duo who’ve been wowing us for years with their catalog of mostly instrumental guitar-led music, but this single — their first featuring English language lyrics — takes the project to another level.

The First Family: Live at Winchester Cathedral 1967is out now, and it’s the earliest known recording of a complete performance by the band. Needless to say, they bring their electrifying energy to every note so play it loud!

Her sit-beside-you vocals, handily layered, mesh nicely with the twangy guitar and gentle percussion of her easy-flow production style. And don’t miss the headtrip video, featuring a realization of dreamland that’s surprisingly accurate.
Pause to take notice of this mesmeric track from experimental artist Lucrecia Dalt. Haunting and halting, it feels at once ancient and completely modern: a prayer, a poem, a program. Arresting percussion and found sounds lead the track’s spooky production, with chorus vocals from featured singer Camille Mandoki rounding it all out.
