Wildfire News Updates

Hey there, welcome to the public media wildfires update.

After a year and a half of sending biweekly updates, we’re winding down the wildfires update. This will be our last regular newsletter, but that doesn’t mean the coverage stops. All of our respective organizations will stay on the story and continue holding the powerful to account as recovery continues.

You can find our coverage across CalMatters, LAist, KCRW, and PBS SoCal, as well as the other great local nonprofit newsrooms we’ve featured here.

We'll be featuring ongoing wildfire topics in our regular reporting. You can find much of our reporting at kcrw.com/news, or subscribe to our Local newsletter to get weekly local journalism in your inbox.

Rest assured, by staying subscribed to this newsletter, you'll receive helpful crisis reporting from KCRW in the unfortunate circumstances of future city-wide alerts or catastrophes.

Please reach out to us with any questions or feedback.

Stay safe,
KCRW, PBS SoCal, LAist, and CalMatters
